20,000 Blames Under the Sea

Today the official Blame-Count nudged past the 20,000 mark, fueled by blames about the DOS attack on Twitter.

That’s 20,000 blames in less than 100 days! It’s hundreds of blames a day.

Here’s what Drew had to say:

We are working so so hard to do great things along with LIVESTRONG, and you get it. You totally get it. Not only that, but if my cancer isn’t in the corner crying somewhere, I’d be shocked. Can you imagine what it feels like to be blamed for 20,000 things?

You can read more thoughts from Drew and his recent favorite blames in his thank you post.

My favorite blame is from my mother, a Twitter newbie who started using her account just to blame cancer:

I #blamedrewscancer that my son jumped out of a plane, I forgive Drew but refuse to forgive drewscancer.

We need another 250 blamers to break the 10,000 mark. Can we do it by our big countdown event next Thursday? I think so.

So get out there and spread the blame! (- @krisis)
